Holiday Inn Hazlet, an IHG Hotel

The room scores high points for cleanliness, space and amenities. Upon arrival, I was unsure of what to expect, as there is an adjacent restaurant/bar that had some patrons milling about out front who seemed to be drunk and were a bit loud. The property is on a busy road and we were thankful to have been placed in the rear of the building. The hotel is pet friendly and the fee for a dog was fairly reasonable ($35). Areas to walk our dog were easily accessible to where our room was located. We were also able to park near the entrances closest to our room. The outdoor area surrounding the building needed some attention, as there were a lot of cigarette butts and trash on the ground. Our room was quiet and comfortable, and for our purposes (one night stay while traveling), it was quite suitable.

Vee at the desk, she was super nice and offered us water and breakfast bar uppn check out, very cool of her and the other gentleman was so nice too. Answered any questions we had. Room was very clean and they supply nice toiletries. Walls are a little thin so you hear your neighbors, but I've yet to find a hotel in that price range that doesn't have thin walls. Well worth the money. Great location. The swimming pool was clean. New restaurant wasn't open yet but the bar was and that was handy for pool drinks. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!

What breakfast charges extra $4 for a tiny cup of coffee. Food Ok, but not worth $10 if coffee is extra charge. Would not do again !!

I really liked the space I had in my room. I felt relaxed and comfy.
